We Are Here to Help
We are a firm that is dedicated exclusively to the practice of U.S. immigration law. This is because immigration is what we are passionate about and because it is a very specialized, complex, and ever-changing area of law. Our office is focused on helping you or your loved one live and work legally in the U.S.. Whether you wish to petition a family member living abroad, adjust your status from temporary immigrant to Lawful Permanent Resident, or are facing deportation before an Immigration Judge, we are committed to your goal.

At the Law Office of Paula Joachin we understand the difficult situation you or a loved one is in and we do not take your trust in us lightly. Our staff will give you the personal attention you deserve. To us, it is very important that you fully understand the legal implications of your case. We will guide you through the entire process step-by-step after carefully considering all your options. Our clients can expect to be informed regularly on the status of their case or any changes in the law that may affect them. We believe communication, honesty, and respect are essential to the Attorney-Client relationship and we make these the pillars of our practice.
Our Credentials
Our law office understands that choosing an immigration lawyer is an important decision to make. Paula has years of experience in immigration matters and has worked with the various immigration agencies, the immigration courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Our office has represented detained and non-detained clients throughout Southern California, including San Diego, El Centro, Los Angeles, and Lancaster. We are members of the American Bar Association, the California State Bar Association, the San Diego County Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Our lawyers are admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court, the Southern District Court of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Our Passion
Our passion is to help undocumented persons remain in the U.S. and avoid the harsh consequences of deportation. An immigrant herself, Paula has first-hand experience with the U.S. immigration system. She brings her expertise, dedication and compassion to every case and she will work tirelessly to obtain the best possible result. Knowing that not every person can afford representation, she volunteers with the ABA’s Immigration Justice Project, the Community Law Project and various other organizations where she helps indigent persons on a pro-bono basis. With Paula, you can rest assured that your will receive the quality representation that you deserve.
